WSU Miracle Workers – Microsoft Imagine Cup

WSU students Chase Lundstrom, Parbati Sanjel and Tauseef Hemayet of “The Miracle Workers” are currently in first place in the software design category of Microsoft’s Imagine Cup Project.

The team has designed a sleeping pad for infants to help prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other respiratory diseases. The sleeping pad monitors the infant’s heartbeat, breathing and movement, sending the data to a PC which in turn sends alerts via a Windows Phone application using Microsoft Visual Studio.

This video was used to pitch their idea to Microsoft.

Living History Documentary

Description From the Living History Website: “The Living History Project videos provide a documented legacy and an overview of these WSU Retirees’ lives, experiences, accomplishments and contributions to Winona State University during their careers.

Living History is a collaborative project with Professor Robin O’Callaghan, Mass Communication, students enrolled in TV Topics and the WSU Retiree Center. The students interview and develop a documentary film focusing on a WSU Retiree and their contributions, accomplishments and experiences during their career at Winona State University. This intergenerational experiential learning venture is a project of pride for WSU; students, staff, faculty, administration and retirees.”

Role: I edited the video, created graphics, and assisted in creating the script, interviewing, and capturing video.
