The Science Museum of Minnesota

User Experience Designer & Developer

    I create and improve upon customer experiences (mostly digital) at the Science Museum of Minnesota. This includes designing digital exhibit experiences, websites, emails, and managing eCommerce user experiences. In 2019 I created the museum's online store, smm.org/store, and currently manage the Shopify e-commerce platform for the museum.

  • Strategy: Communication, Marketing, Content, eCommerce, Multimedia, and Web Strategy
  • UX: Design user-interfaces for public-facing website (smm.org, store.smm.org), leading design and content migration from Drupal 7 Content Management System (CMS) to Contentful CMS
  • eCommerce: Designed and setup the online store via Shopify, manage the online store (excluding fulfillment), assisted with migrating the physical Explore Store gift shop to Shopify
  • Email Marketing: Develop HTML email templates, edit email content and send emails via Wordfly
  • Multimedia Production: Occasionally aid with video and photo production
  • Assessment: Utilize Google Analytics for website analytics
